CleanFolio Terms of Service
Effective date: August 26, 2026
These Terms replace the June 14, 2025 terms from the old CleanFolio site. They apply to the public marketplace athttps://cleanfolio.io/, optional cleaner mini-sites on a CleanFolio subdomain, and the account app at https://app.cleanfolio.io/(together, the “Service”).
CleanFolio is a product of Normal Narwhal LLC, a Nevada limited liability company. “We”, “us”, and “our” mean Normal Narwhal LLC.
By browsing the Service, sending a message to a cleaner, or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
You do not need an account to browse listings or send a message. Sending a message is still use of the Service. You agree to these Terms when you send it.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or send a message to a cleaner. You may browse public pages if you are at least 13. By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. What CleanFolio is
CleanFolio is a listing and messaging platform. Seekers find cleaners and send a message. Cleaners publish a profile and, if they choose, a mini-site. We may also republish public business information as an unclaimed listing until the operator claims it or has it removed (section 6).
CleanFolio is not a party to any cleaning job. We do not employ cleaners. We do not guarantee that a cleaner is licensed, insured, available, or fit for a job. We do not process payments for cleaning work. Any work, price, or contract is between the seeker and the cleaner only.
4. User accounts
- Registration. Seekers and cleaners create an account with an email and password on the account app. You agree to give accurate information and to keep it current. Guest messages still work with no account.
- Account security. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account.
- One listing. Each account may have one cleaner profile.
- Termination. We may suspend, unlist, or close an account that violates these Terms or that we cannot support.
5. Listings and other user content
- Ownership. You keep ownership of content you submit (“User Content”), including your name, city, slugs, and any later photos or text.
- License. You grant CleanFolio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service. This includes showing your listing on the marketplace and on your mini-site.
- Accuracy. You are responsible for your User Content. You warrant that you have the rights to grant the license above and that your listing is not misleading.
- Imported listings. Some listings are compiled from public sources rather than submitted by the business. That compiled information is not User Content of the business until someone claims the row. See section 6.
- Prohibited content. Do not submit content that is illegal, offensive, infringing, or otherwise barred by law or these Terms.
- Slugs. Profile slugs and optional subdomain slugs must follow our format rules. Some words are reserved. We may reclaim a slug that violates these Terms. If you rename a slug, old links may redirect for a limited time.
6. Unclaimed listings
We may publish a directory card compiled from information that was already public: the business name, a city or area, and a phone number or website if the source already published them. That card is not submitted by the business. It is not a claim that we verified the owner. Messages stay off. An unclaimed listing does not get a mini-site.
We may store a source email or phone so the true operator can prove control. We do not show source emails on the public site. We will not email a scraped address to announce a listing or to ask anyone to claim it.
- Claim. Log in, confirm your email, and prove you operate the business. Proof may be a confirmed account email that matches the imported contact, a confirmed email at the listed website, or a code we text to the listed number (when SMS is available). Success attaches the listing to your account. Messages stay off until you turn them on. Each account may still have only one listing (section 4).
- Removal. Use Request removal on the profile. A qualified request hides the listing from search while we review. The profile page may stay up. Instant Takedown unlists the listing if you prove control. We may refuse bulk or repeat requests that do not qualify.
You may not claim a listing you do not operate. You may not use removal to harass a competitor.
7. Guest messages (leads)
Anyone who meets the age rule in section 2 may send a cleaner a message (name, email, and message text) without an account. A cleaner must turn messages on after they confirm their email. A listing with messages off has no form.
- We store that message and show it to the cleaner you contacted.
- We may email a copy to that cleaner.
- Do not use the form to spam, harass, or send unlawful content.
- A message is not a booking and does not create a contract with CleanFolio.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your business or affiliation.
- Claim a listing you do not operate.
- Submit bulk or false removal requests.
- Interfere with the security or operation of the Service.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service.
- Scrape listings or send automated messages without our permission.
9. Intellectual property
- CleanFolio content. Content we provide (excluding User Content), including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of CleanFolio or its licensors.
- Limited license. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose: finding a cleaner, or listing your cleaning business.
10. Third-party services and links
The Service uses third parties to host the apps, store data, turn an address or city into a map point, send email, send SMS codes (Telnyx), count visits (Fathom), store server logs (Mezmo), and track server errors (Honeybadger). Listings and mini-sites may also link to other sites. CleanFolio is not responsible for third-party content or practices. See thePrivacy Policy for how we share data with those providers.
11. Disclaimers
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- We do not warrant the accuracy of listings (including imported public listings) or the quality of any cleaning work.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CleanFolio and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service, a listing, a guest message, or a cleaning job arranged through the Service.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CleanFolio, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, your messages, or your violation of these Terms.
14. Modifications to the Service
CleanFolio may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new Terms on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective is acceptance of the new Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
17. Contact
